I think, I'd be a lot less worried about the trip this time as it would be less unknown. But, any reasonable travelling in India is not going to be an easy or relaxing trip; this is not necessarily bad, but you come back tired. Still, by the time I get around to it, the pound will probably be worth nothing and India will be too expensive.
